Justice figure at the Palace of Justice in Tehran.

Justice sculpture/relief at Tehran's Palace of Justice.

This image comes from Tehran's Palace of Justice and gives the topic an Iranian visual language for law rather than a generic set of scales. The sculpture was made by Iranian artist Gholamreza Rahimzadeh Arjang. Its value here is institutional: justice must be visible, public and larger than the interests of any individual ruler or faction.
